TenPuru: No One Can Live on Loneliness

Akemitsu Akagami grows up ashamed of his father’s reputation and decides he will not repeat it. After a chance meeting with Yuzuki Aoba leaves him unable to clear his head, he tries to cut off desire by entering a Buddhist temple. The plan fails at once. Mikazuki Temple is run by young women, and Yuzuki is one of them. Akemitsu is taken in because the temple is short on hands and money, but his presence creates trouble for everyone who lives there. He works through cleaning, repairs, deliveries, and rituals while trying to prove he is serious about discipline. Yuzuki carries the pressure of protecting the temple after her family’s losses, so every mistake feels like a threat to the place she wants to preserve. Her sisters and the other residents pull Akemitsu into daily problems that move from chores to money disputes and public misunderstandings. Rumors around the temple grow when outsiders question whether it can stay open with a man living there. Akemitsu keeps trying to leave temptation behind, but the work forces him to face people directly instead of hiding from them. Yuzuki slowly sees that his awkward effort is not an act, and Akemitsu learns that cutting himself off from others will not fix the past he wants to escape. The temple survives through shared labor, small compromises, and the decision to keep living under the same roof even when it makes everyone’s life more complicated.
