Isekai Office Worker: The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter

Seiichirou Kondou is pulled into the Romany Kingdom by accident during a ritual meant to summon a Holy Maiden. The court offers to support him because he was not supposed to be there, but Seiichirou refuses to sit idle. Used to long office hours and ledgers, he asks for work and is placed in the Royal Accounting Department. The department is disorganized, slow, and careless with money, so he starts correcting records, cutting waste, and forcing nobles and clerks to account for what they spend. His habits do not change just because the world has magic. He works too much, eats poorly, ignores rest, and treats royal finances like another company books problem. Aresh Indolark, a young knight, becomes involved after Seiichirou nearly dies from a tonic’s side effects. Saving him creates a bond that neither of them can handle cleanly at first. Aresh watches Seiichirou’s health, escorts him, and slowly becomes the one person able to interrupt his self destructive work pace. Seiichirou keeps trying to solve problems through paperwork, audits, and stubborn routine, while palace politics, foreign delegations, and the Holy Maiden’s role keep pulling him into matters beyond accounting. His reforms expose how much the kingdom depends on habits nobody questioned. Aresh’s protection begins as duty, then turns into something harder to file away under obligation. The story follows Seiichirou as he turns survival in another world into office labor, and as the knight beside him becomes the reason he has to learn that being useful is not the same as being expendable.
