City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust

City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust is an animated film based on Tsukasa Hojo's classic manga, following Ryo Saeba, the sharpshooting sweeper of Shinjuku, and his partner Kaori Makimura.

Inspired by the finale of the original manga, the film pits Ryo against his own dark past. His former mentor and adoptive father, Shin Kaibara, now the leader of the Union Teope, has set his sights on killing him. At the center of the threat is Angel Dust, a program that turns people injected with nanomachines into super soldiers, and those soldiers are now coming after Ryo.

The film combines the franchise's signature ingredients: stylish gunfights, Ryo's playful womanizing and comedic banter with Kaori, and the serious emotional core of a man forced to confront the person who shaped him, making it a more personal and dramatic chapter in the City Hunter story.
