The Tale of Outcasts

This romantic story unfolds at the end of the nineteenth century in the British Empire. The heroine is a sweet and very kind girl named Wisteria. She is young and breathtakingly beautiful, but the fate dealt to her is far too hard and unbearably tragic. At an early age she was left completely alone in the world: her parents died, and she had to take shelter with bitter, scheming relatives. For many years she was surrounded by loneliness and terrible suffering. There was no joy in her life, and only dreams and wondrous fantasies helped her survive those unbearable conditions.

One day the unfortunate girl met a creature just as lonely as she was. He was no ordinary human: his appearance resembled a beast, and at first sight one could be frightened speechless. This immortal possessed enormous power, yet he was constantly pursued by hunters eager to capture him for a huge reward. Marbas was incredibly lonely, and when he met the beautiful girl he was overjoyed. They were so alike that they grew close very quickly. Now the two of them, bound by love, had to wander the world together in search of a safe place.
