Kyle is a swordsman who reaches the Demon King’s throne after a war that destroys his country and kills friends and family. As he bleeds out he touches a crimson crystal in the castle and wakes four years earlier in his younger body. With memories of sieges and betrayals intact, he refuses to repeat the path that ended in ruin. He hides what he knows and starts laying groundwork in border towns, stockpiling medicine and grain, mapping routes, and training with a pace that looks ordinary from the outside. Quiet trips become missions to recruit people who will matter later and to blunt the rise of demon generals before they can gather armies. He works to open channels between human factions and sets talks with long lived races whose help was lost the first time. Corrupt nobles and profiteers move against him while scouts report the first raids. When the invasion begins, cities are supplied, allies are in place, and Kyle turns knowledge of the old timeline into a plan that aims to break the war before it reaches the castle again.
