Legend of Mana -The Teardrop Crystal-

In the world of Fa'Diel, wonders have long been part of everyday life: alongside people live talking beasts, sprout spirits, sorcerers, wandering merchants and creatures whose very lives are bound to mana itself. Once the Mana Tree nourished the land, but after ancient catastrophes its power waned, and the world seemed to crumble into separate roads, towns and legends that take shape again through encounters, memories and artifacts. Not far from the quiet town of Domina lives Shiloh, a kind, open-hearted young man used to helping everyone around him. At night, the mysterious voice of the Goddess of Mana comes to him and speaks of his destiny, but the meaning of these dreams remains unclear until a chance meeting draws him into the story of the Jumi, a nearly vanished race of gem people whose hearts shine as precious cores. For the Jumi, these cores are not ornaments but the very source of life; for hunters and greedy people, they are rare prey worth killing for.
