Dragon Raja: The Blazing Dawn

Lu Mingfei has long seen himself as a spare part in his own life: an awkward high school senior who shines neither in grades nor in confidence, he lives somewhere between everyday humiliations at school, a quiet crush on Chen Wenwen and the feeling that the future has already passed him by. So the letter from the mysterious Cassell College seems to him either an absurd mistake or a scam: he never applied there, never dreamed of an elite university abroad, and certainly never expected anyone to call him special. But the invitation is followed by a whole chain of strange events: a frightening interview, the intervention of the bold and dazzling Chen Motong, nicknamed Nono, and a sudden rescue at the most humiliating moment. Taking a step beyond the world he knows, Mingfei learns that dragons are no myth but an ancient race whose return could wipe out humanity. And Cassell is not just a college but a fortress that trains hybrids, people with dragon blood who can awaken supernatural abilities known as Yanling.
