AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline Part 2

Eight months have passed since the battle on the Oki Islands, and the Japan of 2061 has become even more fragile than before. The country is still torn into spheres of influence controlled by foreign blocs, and its people live between checkpoints, evacuations and other nations' orders, as if the only right left to them on their own land were the right to survive. The borderline war was once fought with autonomous combat machines called AMAIM, and now these weapons are shifting the balance of power once again: the North American Coalition has gained the upper hand thanks to an artificial intelligence built from the data of the dangerous "Ghost." The resistance organization Yatagarasu tries to protect refugees and hold on to the last pockets of hope, but it does so without its former support, with depleted resources and with the wound left by the disappearance of Amo Shiiba. Gai Tezuka and Shion Shishibe keep sending their machines into battle, yet each sortie looks more and more like an attempt to hold back an avalanche with bare hands. And just when the enemy's ring is about to close, Kenbu returns to the battlefield, together with Amo, alive, but no longer the boy who was once afraid to pull the trigger.
