Momentary Lily

Renge Kasumi wakes in a ruined city with no memories and learns to survive by routine. Machines roam the streets and most people are gone, yet she meets a small group of girls who can fight and who still cook proper meals in a half broken kitchen. Patrols, scavenging runs, and training keep them moving between quiet recipes and sudden battles. Renge watches for patterns in the enemy while she relearns how to talk and how to trust. Each girl carries a clue about the world that ended and the power they now use. A radio signal suggests someone is guiding the attacks. The team follows fragmentary maps, digs through closed districts, and pieces together why they were left behind. Small comforts like hot food and shared chores hold the group together until they can name their link to the invaders and choose whether to keep hiding or take the fight across the city.
