Kaiju No. 8 Season 2

Kafka Hibino returns to duty under tighter watch while the Defense Force turns an enemy into a tool. Soshiro Hoshina accepts Kaiju No. 10 as a weapon and trains as its compatible user. Kafka and Kikoru transfer to the First Division, where Captain Gen Narumi sets harsh drills and pushes Reno and the rookies to keep pace. Director General Isao Shinomiya meets Kafka in a trial with Numbers Weapon 2 and forces him to prove control over No. 8. The result keeps Kafka in uniform while Kaiju No. 9 adapts and starts linking attacks across regions. A neutralization push at Bunkui Pass shows how fast the front can shift. Evacuation orders spread as sensors flag clustered outbreaks called cataclysms. Cities bend under a second wave and the defense grid strains as No. 9 slips in to claim a human host and new power. First Division holds ground through the surge and draws a plan for payback, leaving Kafka closer to the line he chose and to the risk that his form is the only shield left.
