Z/X: Code Reunion

Z/X: Code Reunion is an anime based on the Z/X Zillions of Enemy X card game franchise, set in a world where humanity has had to deal with the Zex, beings that emerged from rifts in space and time connected to mysterious, distant worlds.

After a long conflict, the signing of a peace treaty has secured a tenuous ceasefire between mankind and the Zex. Living in this fragile new era is Azumi Kakamigahara, who is partnered with a Zex named Rigel. Together, the unlikely pair carry the fate of Azumi's peaceful world on their shoulders.

The two head to the newly established Fujimisaki Academy, where humans and Zex are learning to coexist and where their destinies await. The series combines school life, friendship and action, following Azumi and Rigel as they grow closer while the uneasy peace around them is tested.
