Hi Score Girl: Extra Stage

Hi Score Girl: Extra Stage is a set of additional episodes for Hi Score Girl, the romantic comedy based on Rensuke Oshikiri's manga and set in the arcade culture of 1990s Japan. It expands on the story of its three main characters with extra episodes beyond the TV series.

Four years after they first met, Haruo Yaguchi, Akira Oono and Koharu Hidaka are still the best of friends. Tensions are building, though: Akira's strict private tutor, Moemi Gouda, has become stricter than ever, leaving Akira with less freedom, while Hidaka has developed feelings for Haruo.

Haruo may not be the most composed or thoughtful person around, but he carries the one thing that started it all, his unconditional love for video games. As in the main series, the episodes are full of references to classic arcade and console games of the era, balancing nostalgic gaming humor with the awkward, heartfelt relationships between the three friends.
