Rooster Fighter

Keiji wanders through Japan after mutant demons begin appearing from humans crushed by extreme grief, rage, or despair. Some demons are confused or harmless, but others grow into towering threats that destroy streets, trains, ports, and families. Keiji is only a rooster, yet he fights them with speed, beak strikes, thrown objects, and a battle cry that can shake enemies through resonance. His journey is not random. He is hunting the White Demon, the creature that killed his sister Sara and left him with a need for revenge stronger than fear. Keiji refuses to settle anywhere for long, helping people and moving on before attachment can slow him down.

That distance becomes harder to keep as others join his road. Elizabeth, a hen from a wealthy home, first resents Keiji for abandoning her after saving her, then trains herself and follows him into the fight against demons. Piyoko, a chick raised by a yakuza, attaches herself to Keiji after her owner is changed by the same curse spreading through the country. Friendly demons, wounded birds, and enemies tied to the White Demon reveal that the disaster has a structure behind it. Madam Kugone creates demons for Gakuma, the human form of the White Demon, and each encounter pushes Keiji closer to the source. His battles stay absurd on the surface, but every city he crosses shows the same rule. Human pain is turning into monsters, and a single wandering rooster keeps standing between those monsters and the people they would destroy.
