The Future Diary

Yukiteru Amano keeps notes on his phone and talks to an imagined god until the deity grants him a diary that writes the future and drops him into a death match among twelve users. A classmate, Yuno Gasai, shields him with fierce devotion and turns their pact into a possessive guard. Detective Keigo Kurusu joins them and later betrays them after learning his son is terminally ill. Kamado Ueshita’s orphanage and a linked supercomputer spread apprentice diaries across the city and ignite a siege on Bacchus. The last days force Yukiteru to point the diary at friends as Yuno drives toward an ending only she will accept. She chooses death. He inherits divinity and waits in silence for ages until a door opens toward the promise they once made.
