Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters

Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters is the remastered retelling of the Majin Buu saga, the last major arc of Dragon Ball Z. Like the rest of Kai, it trims the filler of the original broadcast and follows Akira Toriyama's manga far more closely, presenting the story with restored visuals and a tighter pace.

Seven years have passed since the battle against Cell. Gohan is now a high school student who secretly fights crime as the Great Saiyaman, while Goku is allowed to return from the Other World for a single day to take part in the World Martial Arts Tournament. The reunion is cut short when the wizard Babidi sets out to revive Majin Buu, an ancient creature of terrifying power.

The arc brings Vegeta's inner conflict to the surface, introduces the young fighters Goten and Trunks and their fusion technique, and builds to an all-out struggle for the fate of the Earth and the universe itself, bringing the Z era to its conclusion.
