Call of the Night Season 2

Season 2 continues immediately after the first season. Ko Yamori decides to become a vampire by truly falling in love with Nazuna Nanakusa, while Nazuna in turn tries to make him fall for her despite not understanding love herself. Their routine of night walks and small trials is cut short by Anko Uguisu, a detective who hunts vampires by attacking the attachments they valued as humans. As Anko’s pursuit tightens around them, Ko is forced to weigh the cost of turning, the danger he brings to bystanders, and whether his feelings are escape or commitment. Clues about Nazuna’s missing early years lead them to places tied to her origin. From that past emerges Haru Nanakusa, a key figure whose connection reframes Nazuna’s idea of weakness and why she has no human memories. The season focuses on decisions under pressure, hunter or hunted, human or vampire, companion or obsession, and closes with Nazuna’s history brought to light while Ko’s path remains open but narrower.
