At the end of a staged final battle in the MMO Exgate Online, the top player lets their avatar, Lufas Maphaahl, be sealed away so others can enjoy the game. The next moment, the player wakes up inside Lufas’s body in a world that looks exactly like Exgate, except it is no longer a game. Two hundred years have passed, her name is remembered as the Black-Winged Tyrant, and new powers have moved into the space her reign once held. Lufas refuses to reclaim the throne by force, but she cannot ignore the chaos tied to her legacy. Her former subordinates, the Twelve Heavenly Stars, have scattered and begun acting on their own, leaving wars and ruined towns in their wake.
