Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider

Tanzaburo Tojima is forty and still training like the hero he adored as a kid. He keeps a construction job and a strict routine until a run of robberies by crooks copying Shocker drags him into the mess. He pulls on a cheap festival mask and starts chasing the gang, turning years of solo drills into real fights on the street. He crosses paths with Yuriko Okada, a teacher who modeled herself on Electro Wave Human Tackle, and Ichiyo Shimamura, who lives by the creed of V3, with his brother Mitsuba stepping up as Riderman. A yakuza fan called Hachiro Nakao orders crimes in Shocker cosplay and ends up facing a true kaijin known as Spider Man. In a world where Kamen Rider is a TV show, Shocker myths bleed into reality, and Tanzaburo keeps testing how far devotion can carry an ordinary adult.
