Touring After the Apocalypse

Youko and Airi ride an electric trail bike through a quiet Japan after the fall, charging at mountain lookouts and tracing old postcards to see what is left. In Hakone they find a dead combat vehicle that wakes and attacks, so Airi uses a forearm cannon to stop it and Youko shuts its AI down. They visit hot springs, then push for Yokohama and Yokosuka, where a broken bay bridge blocks the road and a half awake cyborg named Schwar briefly travels with them before choosing the sea. A Soryu class submarine lies across asphalt and giant orcas cut the water. Near Tokyo they camp, gather clean water, and follow the Yurikamome line to a flooded Big Sight where only fan books remain. A faint song on the radio guides them to Akihabara and a tiny studio still on air by solar power. They upgrade the rig and leave it playing into the night. The journey goes on. Two friends take photos, cook simple meals, and keep listening in case another voice answers back.
