Captain Harlock: Arcadia of my Youth

In the future, the Earth lies under the despotic rule of the Illumidas. Harlock, commander of the Deathshadow, becomes the leader of the resistance. His powerful forces are compelled to submit to the Illumidas troops, which force them to land at a captured base. There the hero meets Oyama, who provides him with the ship Arcadia, built with lost technologies. As the last of the Harlock clan, he begins the liberation of the Earth from the Illumidas.

Preparing for a fierce struggle, Harlock resolutely sets out on a campaign for the freedom of his people. So begins the epic odyssey of Harlock, the hero who frees the world from the treacherous clutches of the Illumidas. Against the backdrop of an oppressed Earth, Harlock and his ship enter into battle with the Illumidas. His determination to liberate humanity leads to a great clash in which the Arcadia becomes a symbol of hope. Harlock, the last of a clan of pirate knights, faces the might of the Illumidas, but his heart burns with the fire of freedom, ready to fight to the very end for his planet.
