Infinite Stratos 2

Summer vacation is over, and a new school term begins at IS Academy. Ichika Orimura, the only boy among the female students, is ready to buckle down to his studies while continuing to serve on the team of IS pilots. At the same time, he keeps trying to sort out the conflicts that constantly flare up between him and his classmates.

Ichika has caught the attention of the student council president, Tatenashi Sarashiki. She wants to become his personal trainer, even though he has no great desire to train one-on-one with the beautiful upperclassman. He soon realizes that he is weak at long range and at strategic planning, which means he needs to master the fundamentals of close combat.

Meanwhile, the enemy continues to hunt for IS units: an attack has already been carried out on a military laboratory, forcing the academy to mobilize. The Infinite Stratos is a powered exoskeleton controlled by its pilot's will, capable of replacing an entire army, and although many countries try to use it for peaceful purposes, only women can pilot it. Ichika remains the single, unexplained exception to that rule.
