Chaika: The Coffin Princess - Avenging Battle

Chaika: The Coffin Princess - Avenging Battle is the second season of Hitsugi no Chaika and picks up the story where the first left off. Years after the fall of Emperor Arthur Gaz, whose body was divided among the heroes who brought him down, the girl Chaika Trabant is still gathering the scattered remains of the man she calls her father. With each recovered piece she draws closer to learning who she really is and what purpose she was meant to serve.

She is not alone in this quest. Toru Acura, a former saboteur left without a war to fight, his sister Akari, and Fredrica, a dragon who can take human form, continue to stand by her side. Meanwhile the Red Chaika pursues the very same remains, and the Gillett Corps presses on with its mission to track down and capture every last Chaika. Along the way the companions come across an account that the emperor kept secret, and they resolve to uncover the truth behind it, a truth that may change everything they believed about Chaika and the war that ended.
