Bungo Stray Dogs 2 - Walking Alone

Members of the Armed Detective Agency are discussing who would make the most suitable second-in-command, while Doppo Kunikida has just written out his schedule for the day in his personal notebook. Atsushi notices it and doubts that Kunikida can get through everything planned in a single day, but Kunikida insists that he must complete it all without deviating from his schedule by a single step. Yosano interrupts to ask him to go grocery shopping with her, and he refuses. Then Tanizaki tells him about a man who is supposed to hand a suitcase containing a bomb to a random passerby, but Kunikida cuts him off mid-sentence and asks him to continue once he is back.

After brushing off Ranpo's complaints and begging Dazai not to meddle, Kunikida heads to the subway, where catching his train on time is a vital part of the plan – if he misses it, everything falls apart. Suddenly Dazai calls to say that the craftsman who makes his beloved notebooks has come by the office. At first Kunikida is thrilled at the chance to meet him, but he soon realizes it is Dazai's trick to wreck his plan and boards the first train that arrives. Yet the bomb incident is about to challenge the ideals he has always upheld: weighing one life against hundreds, what will he do?
