C³ - CubexCursedxCurious

Based on the light novel series by Hazuki Minase, C³ blends romantic comedy, action and supernatural horror. Haruaki Yachi is an ordinary high school boy except for one thing: he is naturally resistant to curses. He lives in a large old house, and his father, who travels the world, regularly sends him strange objects. One day a mysterious black cube arrives in the mail, and the next morning Haruaki wakes up to find a nude girl standing in his kitchen.

Her name is Fear, and she is the human form of that cursed black cube – an instrument of torture that can transform into all manner of gruesome devices. Haunted by her bloody past and determined to lift the curse that binds her, Fear moves in with Haruaki, who treats her with surprising kindness.

Using her special abilities, Fear fights alongside Haruaki against other cursed instruments and the people who own and exploit them. Between brutal battles, the story balances dark themes of guilt and redemption with lighthearted school-life comedy, as Fear slowly learns what it means to live among people instead of hurting them.
