To LOVE-Ru Darkness OVA is a series of six bonus episodes that were bundled with the limited editions of volumes 5, 6, 8, 9, 12 and 13 of the To LOVE-Ru Darkness manga. Each episode adapts several chapters and special stories from the manga that were left out of the TV series.
The episodes return to the chaotic household of Rito Yuuki, an ordinary high school boy whose life was turned upside down by the alien princess Lala Satalin Deviluke and her sisters Nana and Momo. Momo is still busy with her plan to build a harem around Rito, while the former assassin Golden Darkness, Rito's sister Mikan, his crush Haruna Sairenji and many other girls keep getting caught up in increasingly embarrassing situations.
Like the main series, the OVAs focus on romantic comedy and generous fan service, while also giving several of the heroines their own moments in the spotlight.
