To LOVE-Ru Darkness 2nd OVA is a bonus release that was bundled with the fifteenth volume of the To LOVE-Ru Darkness manga. It consists of two episodes with a total running time of about 25 minutes, each adapting stories from the manga that were not covered by the TV series.
The first episode, a ghost story titled How About Something Scary?, adapts a side story from the ninth volume of the manga. The second, a clinic episode titled Unable to Be Honest, adapts chapter 38.
Both episodes return to the hectic life of Rito Yuuki, an ordinary high school boy surrounded by alien princesses, assassins and classmates, including Lala, her sisters Momo and Nana, Golden Darkness and Haruna Sairenji. As usual, Rito's attempts to keep things under control end in embarrassing accidents, and the OVA delivers the series' familiar blend of romantic comedy and fan service.
