Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?

In a quiet rural middle school, Himari Inuzuka and Yuu Natsume make a bold promise: they will be best friends forever. They share a dream, back each other up, and somehow manage to keep romance out of the conversation. Time passes, and in high school they are still inseparable, running a tiny gardening club with only the two of them, as if nothing can change their balance. Himari is loud, bright, and impatient for a first love that never arrives. Yuu is calm, obsessed with flowers, and focused on making things with his hands. Then the past walks back into Yuu’s life in the form of his first crush, and the friendship that felt unbreakable starts to slip. Small jokes land differently, jealousy shows up where it should not, and both have to face the question they kept dodging.
