Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Something

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Something is a set of short bonus specials included with the Blu-ray and DVD release of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, the Kyoto Animation comedy based on Coolkyousinnjya's manga. The main series follows Kobayashi, a hardworking office programmer who, after a drunken night in the mountains, ends up with a dragon named Tohru on her doorstep. Tohru takes the form of a human girl and insists on serving as Kobayashi's maid, and soon the little dragon Kanna moves in as well.

These specials return to the same cozy household and its circle of friends, including Kanna's classmate Saikawa, the easygoing Lucoa, the gloomy gamer Fafnir and Tohru's rival Elma. Rather than telling a continuous story, they offer brief, lighthearted vignettes that expand on the everyday life of dragons trying to fit into human society. Like the series itself, they focus on gentle humor, the warmth of an unconventional found family and the many small misunderstandings that arise when beings from another world settle into ordinary life.
