Haikyu!!: VS "Failing Marks"

Haikyu!!: VS "Failing Marks" is an OVA episode of Haikyu!!, the sports anime about the Karasuno High School volleyball team, centered on its two first-year stars: Shouyou Hinata, a short but incredibly fast and high-jumping spiker, and Tobio Kageyama, a gifted setter with a prickly personality.

Right before the volleyball club's long-awaited training camp in Tokyo, where Karasuno is set to face powerful schools from the area, both Hinata and Kageyama fail a final exam. The make-up exams happen to overlap with the trip, and the two boys desperately plead their case to the vice principal, but to no avail. Since the team cannot afford to lose its indispensable duo, the rest of the club's members find different ways to help them study, pass their exams and make it to the camp in time.

The episode trades the tension of matches for school-life comedy, showing the bonds between the Karasuno teammates as the whole club rallies around its two hopeless students.
