Seraph of the Endless

These Seraph of the End specials are short bonus episodes included with the Blu-ray and DVD releases of the TV anime based on Takaya Kagami's Seraph of the End.

The series is set in a world where a mysterious virus wiped out almost all humans over the age of thirteen, after which vampires emerged from the shadows and enslaved the surviving children in their underground city. Yuichiro Hyakuya escaped from captivity at the cost of his adopted family, including his closest friend Mikaela, and joined the Japanese Imperial Demon Army to take revenge on the vampires. Fighting alongside his squad of Shinoa Hiiragi, Yoichi Saotome, Shiho Kimizuki and Mitsuba Sangu under the command of Guren Ichinose, he discovers that Mikaela survived and has become a vampire.

The specials set aside the grim, action-heavy tone of the main story to offer extra moments with the cast. They are a light supplement for fans who want to spend more time with Yuichiro, Mikaela and their comrades away from the battlefield.
