Date A Bullet: Nightmare or Queen

Nightmare or Queen is the second part of the Date A Bullet films, a spin-off of the Date A Live franchise that centers on Kurumi Tokisaki, the ruthless and enigmatic Nightmare spirit known for her gothic dress, her clock-faced eye and her power over time.

The story takes place in the Neighbor, a mysterious parallel world inhabited by quasi-spirits, beings who exist somewhere between spirits and ordinary humans and who are drawn into deadly battles with one another. Having arrived in this world with no memory of how she got there, Kurumi teamed up with Hibiki Higoromo, a quasi-spirit girl who became her companion, and set out to make her way through the territories of the Neighbor.

This second film continues their journey and brings Kurumi into a decisive confrontation with the White Queen, the mysterious ruler who commands an army of followers and seeks dominion over the Neighbor, and whose connection to Kurumi lies at the heart of the story. As the conflict escalates, Kurumi must rely on her cunning, her guns and her clones while uncovering the truth behind the world she has found herself in.
