After-School Hanako-kun

Hanako-kun and Nene Yashiro are used to dealing with the supernatural within the walls of Kamome Academy, where some new oddity lurks around almost every corner. But outside of these investigations they have a life of their own, one that is far lighter, noisier and unexpectedly warm. Free for a while from the school's mysteries, they try to catch their breath and do things that don't involve saving anyone from yet another ghost.

Their downtime looks nothing like heroics. Sometimes it comes down to fierce gaming battles in which they argue, lose and celebrate victories with the same passion; sometimes it is funny everyday mishaps, silly illnesses, peaceful riddles and experiments with their appearance, right up to the most unexpected transformations. Changing hairstyles, clothes and their usual look, they try on other versions of themselves just for fun.

It is in these quiet moments that something important is revealed between them. Through games, jokes and little secrets, Hanako and Nene get to know each other better and grow even closer. Their bond rests not only on fighting the otherworldly together but also on being there for each other on the simplest, most peaceful days.
