L'etoile de Paris en fleur

In early 1900s Paris, Fujiko Tsuguta is trying to live on her own terms. Her parents want her to settle into a «proper» future, but she came to France to chase a painter’s life anyway, leaning on her uncle’s support to make it happen. Chizuru Sonoi, raised in a strict household and trained with the naginata, keeps getting pulled toward ballet instead. When a street trouble puts Fujiko in a bad spot, Chizuru steps in, and the two realize this is not their first meeting, they once crossed paths as kids in Yokohama. Fujiko refuses to let that reunion be just a nice coincidence, and she pushes Chizuru toward real training by seeking help from Olga, a Russian former ballerina and the mother of a young man named Ruslan. While the girls run into walls for being outsiders, Fujiko’s safety net snaps when her uncle suddenly disappears, forcing both of them to decide what they are willing to risk for the lives they want.
