Kore Kaite Shine

Ai Yasumi is a first-year high school student living on Izu Oshima who has always loved reading manga, but a single push makes her start thinking about creating her own. Instead of keeping that idea as a daydream, she pulls people around her into it and ends up forming a manga club at her school, then discovers how hard it is to turn «I want to draw» into real pages. Inspiration comes fast, but so do blank panels, shaky confidence, and the ugly parts of learning craft. Ai keeps going anyway, clinging to what made her fall in love with manga in the first place, including her personal «bible» series Robota and Pocota, and that stubborn love becomes the fuel that drags her through the first real steps of making comics with friends.
