Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S Short Animation Series

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S Short Animation Series is a collection of commemorative mini-anime released on Kyoto Animation's YouTube channel in the run-up to the premiere of the second season, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S.

The shorts bring back the familiar cast of the series: Kobayashi, the hard-working, level-headed systems engineer; Tohru, the dragon from another world who repaid Kobayashi's kindness by becoming her devoted maid; the little dragon Kanna, who lives with them; and their friends, including Elma, Lucoa and Fafnir. Each brief episode is a light, comedic glimpse into their everyday life together in the human world.

Created as a celebration and warm-up for the new season, these short animations keep the cozy, playful tone of the main series, with its blend of slice-of-life comedy, found family and the occasional reminder that the people sharing Kobayashi's apartment are, in fact, enormously powerful dragons.
