Myriad Colors Phantom World Special

This special unaired episode of Myriad Colors Phantom World was bundled with the series' seventh DVD/Blu-ray volume.

The series is set in a near future where an accident at a research facility released a virus that altered the human brain, allowing people to see phantoms: creatures born from the human imagination that now exist alongside everyday life. Some children have even developed special abilities that let them fight these beings. Haruhiko Ichijou, a student at Hosea Academy with a vast store of trivia and the ability to seal phantoms by drawing them, joins the academy's phantom-hunting team alongside the energetic senior Mai Kawakami, who fights with elemental martial arts, and the tiny fairy-like phantom Ruru.

Together with their teammates Reina Izumi, Koito Minase and Kurumi Kumamakura, they take on odd jobs dealing with troublesome phantoms. The extra episode offers one more lighthearted outing with the group, in the same comedic, fanservice-flavored spirit as the Kyoto Animation TV series.
