Lycoris Recoil: Friends are thieves of time.

Six short films immerse the viewer in the everyday lives of Chisato, Takina and their friends, with each story told through its own distinctive directorial approach and original storyboards. At the center are two completely opposite girls, Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue, the pair of Lycoris agents who work at the cafe LycoReco. Chisato is bright and energetic, full of boundless optimism and a lively temperament, while Takina is reserved, restrained and inclined to think things through before taking a step.

Their adventures together are packed with unexpected, sometimes comical and even absurd moments, and it is a delight to watch how the girls' contrasting personalities play out in all kinds of circumstances.
