Little Busters! EX

Little Busters! EX is a set of OVA episodes adapting the additional heroine routes from Little Busters! Ecstasy, the expanded version of Key's visual novel. The episodes were bundled with the BD/DVD releases of Little Busters!: Refrain.

The series follows Riki Naoe and his childhood friends in the Little Busters, a group led by the charismatic Kyousuke Natsume that spends its days playing baseball and getting into all kinds of mischief at school. Ecstasy added three heroines, each of whom gets her own story here.

Saya Tokido is a mysterious girl whose route takes place before the events of Refrain. Sasami Sasasegawa, the proud captain of the girls' softball team, has a route set after Refrain. Kanata Futaki, a strict member of the disciplinary committee and the twin sister of Haruka Saigusa, has a story split in two: its first half takes place before Refrain and its second half after it.

These episodes explore the girls' feelings, secrets and relationships with Riki, filling in parts of the story that the TV series did not cover.
