Asobi Asobase Specials

These two short specials accompany Asobi Asobase, the comedy about the Pastime Club, whose members, the rich and boisterous Hanako Honda, the blonde Olivia, who looks foreign but cannot actually speak English, and the bookish Kasumi Nomura, turn every simple game into absurd chaos.

In Ototo, the girls run into Hanako's younger brother, Kentarou, on their way home from school. The timid yet studious boy introduces himself to his sister's friends and quickly tries to escape the awkward situation, but he is roped into joining the three girls for some fun at the park.

In Amusutorongu, Chisato Higuchi's spontaneous question about which member of the Pastime Club is the strongest sparks a fierce arm-wrestling contest, which only grows more heated as the participants resort to some underhanded methods.

Like the main series, the specials deliver fast-paced gag comedy that starts with something innocent and spirals into complete nonsense.
