Kanokon: The Great Midsummer Carnival

Kanokon: The Great Midsummer Carnival is an OVA sequel to Kanokon, the ecchi romantic comedy based on Katsumi Nishino's light novels. The series follows Kouta Oyamada, a timid first-year high school student who becomes the object of affection of Chizuru Minamoto, a voluptuous upperclassman who is actually a fox spirit with a very forward approach to romance.

With the arrival of summer and the school break, Chizuru, Kouta and the rest of their friends are lazily enjoying the warm weather. Chizuru flirts with Kouta, Kouta gets embarrassed, and Nozomu Ezomori, a wolf spirit who has also set her sights on him, keeps getting in the way. Meanwhile Tayura pines after Akane Asahina, but Akane rebuffs him, and a sexy, raucous good time ensues. The status quo isn't quite the same since the fox snared her prey, yet the timeless boy-meets-girl tale lingers on, packed with fan service, slapstick and the comedic chaos of a supernatural love triangle in the summer heat.
