Reikenzan: Eichi e no Shikaku

Reikenzan: Eichi e no Shikaku is the second season of Reikenzan, the fantasy series set in a world where the Reiken clan, a sect of sages dwelling on a sacred mountain, trains young disciples in the hope of producing new immortals. Its protagonist is Ouriku, an unconventional and rather unmotivated boy who nevertheless passed the clan's harsh entrance examination and became one of its disciples.

After two years of studying within the Reiken clan, Ouriku and the other still inexperienced disciples are ordered to descend from the mountain to the temporal world to continue their training there. The trip marks a shift from the closed, tradition-bound life of the clan to the wider world beyond it, where the young disciples must test what they have learned among ordinary people. For Ouriku, the journey has a personal meaning as well: he sets out to return to his birthplace, the home he left behind when he joined the clan.

The season continues the story of Ouriku and his fellow disciples as they grow, face new challenges and take further steps on the long path toward becoming true sages.
