Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show

Miko Kurono finishes middle school and reinvents herself as a livestreamer, broadcasting under the name Necronomico. She stays close to her childhood friend Mayu Mayusaka, but she also clashes with Kanna Kagurazaka, a rival who treats everything as a competition. A new virtual reality project pulls them into a game show that looks like entertainment, until the challenges start feeling too real and the hosts reveal a cosmic agenda. The show is run by beings tied to the Cthulhu Mythos, and the trio has to keep performing while the rules keep changing. Miko tries to stay fearless for her audience, but the pressure turns each stream into a gamble with friendships, pride, and sanity, and the promise of online fame stops feeling like the prize. Their scores, rewards, and penalties are broadcast live, and the Old Ones treat fear as a mechanic, so each round raises the stakes and makes quitting harder.
