Black Rebellion is a special edition that retells all 25 episodes of the first season of Code Geass from Lelouch's own point of view.

Lelouch Lamperouge lives the life of an ordinary academy student, hiding his true origins as a prince of the Britannian imperial family. After a chance encounter with a mysterious girl named C.C., the young man gains the power of Geass, an extraordinary ability that lets him bend anyone's will to his with a single command. Realizing the true potential of his new power, Lelouch decides to use it for revenge against the Holy Britannian Empire, which destroyed his former life and turned Japan into an occupied territory stripped of its own name.

Hiding his identity behind the mask of Zero, Lelouch founds the Order of the Black Knights, uniting people who hate the existing regime.
