Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! OVA

These limited edition OVA episodes of Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!) were included with pre-orders of the 13th and 18th volumes of the light novel series by Tomohiro Matsu.

The story follows Yuuta Segawa, a college student who lost his parents as a child and was raised by his older sister Yuri. When Yuri and her husband go missing after a plane accident, relatives plan to split up their three daughters among different households. Unwilling to let the girls be separated, Yuuta takes all three into his cramped one-room apartment and becomes their guardian, despite having little money and no experience raising children. The girls are Sora, the energetic eldest, who is in middle school; Miu, the sharp-tongued middle sister, who is still in elementary school; and little Hina, the youngest, who is still just a small child.

Like the TV series, these bonus episodes depict the warm, comedic and sometimes touching everyday life of this improvised family as Yuuta juggles university, part-time work and parenting, while the girls slowly come to rely on him as a father.
