Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2

Rio leaves Beltrum with Celia and Aishia after breaking the forced wedding, but the escape does not give him time to disappear. Six pillars of light fall across the land, and Aishia senses that something important has entered the world. Rio follows the nearest signs and finds people from Haruto’s former life among kidnapped children. Miharu, the girl Haruto once promised to reunite with, is now in front of him in another world, along with Aki and Masato. Rio rescues them and brings them to the spirit village, where he has to hide the full truth of who he is while giving them food, shelter, language lessons, and a way to understand the danger around them. Celia also has to settle into life after abandoning her old position, while Miharu’s presence makes Rio’s two identities harder to keep separate.

The wider world keeps moving before Rio can decide what Miharu means to him. More people from Japan are summoned as heroes and placed under the control of kingdoms that want their power. Rio becomes involved with Christina and Flora again when political plots and kidnappings drag Beltrum’s royal family into danger. His search for his mother’s killer leads him back to Lucius, and that confrontation forces him to face the hatred that first shaped his life as Rio. Miharu, Aki, and Masato remain under his protection, but Aki’s resentment toward Haruto creates wounds that cannot be solved with explanations. Each route pulls Rio in a different direction: revenge, protection, Celia’s future, Miharu’s return, and the unstable politics around the summoned heroes. He keeps acting calmly because others depend on him, but every rescue makes the two lives inside him harder to divide.
