A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring

Takumi Kayano dies by a god’s mistake and is sent to Etelldia with skills meant to compensate for the accident. The transfer places him in the Forest of Gaia, a dangerous area filled with monsters instead of a safe town. While trying to understand his situation, he finds two small children surviving alone. He names them Allen and Elena, protects them from monsters, and decides not to leave them behind. The twins are cheerful and strong in ways that do not match their age, especially with water based power, but they still need food, shelter, guidance, and someone willing to treat them as children before treating them as useful companions. Takumi brings them to town, registers with the adventurers’ guild, and begins taking simple jobs so they can live properly.

Their travels grow through guild work, cooking, dungeon visits, and trips meant to show Allen and Elena the world outside the forest. Takumi teaches them basic adventuring while trying to keep danger from swallowing their childhood. The twins help gather herbs, fight monsters, clear labyrinth floors, and react to every new place with direct curiosity. A slave trader claims they are his property, proving that the outside world can be cruel even when the journey looks peaceful. Later, the road leads to the sea, a mermaid village, underwater work, and the discovery that Allen and Elena are tied to the Water God. Takumi keeps solving problems with practical skill rather than grand ambition, but each stop gives the children more family, more allies, and more reasons to trust the life he is building around them.
