Shinkalion: Change the World

Shinkalion: Change the World is the third series in the Shinkalion franchise, following Shinkalion and Shinkalion Z. Built around robots that transform from real Japanese bullet trains, it begins a new story with a new generation of pilots.

One day, an unidentified enemy known as the Unknown suddenly appears and threatens the world. To counter this danger, the Super Evolutionary Railway Development Agency has developed the Shinkalion, giant robots that transform from Shinkansen trains and fight to protect people from the Unknown.

The series follows the young pilots chosen to operate these machines as they learn to work together, face increasingly mysterious enemies and discover more about what the Unknown really is. Like the earlier entries, it combines mecha action with a love of trains and railways, while its themes of teamwork and growing up are aimed at younger viewers as well as longtime fans of the franchise.
