After summer vacation, Sori Lee transfers to a new middle school hoping the bullying and rumors will finally stop. On her first day she finds an anonymous letter hidden in her desk, welcoming her to the school and daring her to locate the next one. Each clue pulls Sori deeper into the campus, turning her days into a quiet scavenger hunt that keeps her moving even when she wants to disappear. She keeps running into Dongsoon, a classmate who joins in even when Sori tries to keep distance, and the search gradually forces her to talk, trust, and show up. As the letters lead her from one hiding spot to another, Sori starts piecing together the life of the person who wrote them and why they chose her seat. The closer she gets, the more she realizes the trail is not a prank but a lifeline designed to pull her back toward people.
