Fumiya Tomozaki is used to winning when the world is confined to a screen, but in school hallways he moves like someone who never got the rulebook. His life flips when he discovers that Aoi Hinami, the classmate everyone treats like perfection itself, is also tied to his competitive world and believes real life can be approached like a game you can learn to beat. She offers to become his «walkthrough, ” turning daily interactions into missions, practice, and painful repetition, and Tomozaki agrees because he is tired of watching from the edge. In the next stage of his growth, the goals stop being simple tricks and start becoming choices that shape who he is: how to build genuine friendships instead of farming approval, how to speak up without performing a fake personality, and how to navigate feelings that do not fit cleanly into Hinami’s cold logic. As Tomozaki levels up socially, he begins to notice the pressure Hinami puts on everyone around her, and he starts pushing back, questioning whether „winning“ is worth it if it costs empathy. The more progress he makes, the clearer it becomes that the hardest part is not learning lines or timing, it is deciding what kind of person he wants to be when the walkthrough stops giving easy answers.
