Onimusha

A lone, older Musashi Miyamoto is handed the Oni Gauntlet for a limited stretch of time, and he is not allowed to walk away with it alone. A young monk is assigned to shadow him and make sure the relic does not end up in the wrong hands. Their trip starts like a simple escort job, but the route keeps turning ugly, with villages that feel wrong, people missing, and violent encounters that force Musashi to use the gauntlet even when he would rather rely on his own blade. As they push forward, it becomes clear the gauntlet is not just a weapon. It pulls Musashi into a problem that is bigger than any single fight, and every use comes with a cost in blood, fear, and trust. The monk tries to keep the mission clean and controlled, but Musashi reads the world like a battlefield and expects betrayal from both humans and monsters. By the time they understand what is hunting them and why the gauntlet matters, the trip has turned into a grim test of will, restraint, and what kind of man Musashi wants to be when power is placed in his hands.
